Dr. Brandt

Dr. Jerel Brandt is a board-certified general surgeon with over a decade of experience in the management of surgical and trauma patients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology. Dr. Brandt earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University and completed his residency through Michigan State University in General Surgery.

His surgical expertise encompasses open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures across a range of medical conditions, complemented by proficiency in endoscopy. After a thorough ten-year tenure at a local hospital, providing outpatient and inpatient surgical care, as well as trauma management, he transitioned to establish an independent practice to broaden his reach and service capabilities.

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Brandt is dedicated to leadership development. He actively promotes leadership through his family foundation and contributes to local initiatives focused on training and mentorship. In his personal time, he values spending quality moments with his family.
